Can I request a signature for delivery?Updated 18 hours ago

Once you have selected your shipping option at the checkout, you will be asked if a signature is required on delivery and if you give the authority to leave the parcel if no one is at the address.

If the box is not ticked and no one is available to receive the delivery, our courier will leave the parcel unattended in a relatively secure location at the address. Occasionally, the driver may deem it unsafe to leave the parcel (e.g. an apartment block, raining at the time of delivery, or the parcel visible from the street, etc.). 

If the box is ticked or the parcel cannot be left at the address, our courier will do one of the following (depending on which delivery method is chosen):

  • Update the live tracking to show that the parcel has been taken to the nearest post office for pickup; or
  • Return the parcel to our warehouse (hospital deliveries, same day deliveries, etc.)

An applicable redelivery or returns fee will be passed on to you to facilitate the return or the redelivery of the hamper to the same or an alternative address.

 

If you are concerned that your recipient may not be notified that their parcel is awaiting collection, we recommend checking your tracking information, as this is how you can see the parcel's location and notify your recipient. Your recipient can then collect the item by showing a copy of their valid ID.

 

Please kindly note that any tenant of a residential address or any employee of a business address has the authority to sign for a parcel. Although we understand that your hamper may be a surprise, it's highly advisable to let your recipient know that something is coming for them to avoid disappointment from an overlooked parcel that has been left in a safe place at the nominated address.
